Half Steer

Approximately 250–350 pounds of meat, 300lb avg.

  • Total estimated cost of $5.00/lb ($1497 approximate total)
  • Retail value is approximately $2100+
  • This includes basic butchering costs but does not include smoking, curing, linking, patties, etc
  • $325 non-refundable deposit required
  • Price includes our hauling the animal to the butcher and educating you on the cut choices available to you.  We also take the time to walk you thru the cut process as required at no additional fee.

  • Estimates based on 900lb animal.  Animals can weigh as much as 1200lbs or more which affects your final price.

Whole Steer

Approximately 550-650 pounds of meat, 600lb avg.

  • Total estimated cost of $5.00/lb ($2994 approximate total)
  • Retail value is approximately $4200+ but does not include curing, smoking, linking, patties, etc
  • $375 non-refundable deposit required
  • Price includes our hauling the animal to the butcher and educating you on the cut choices available to you.  We also take the time to walk you thru the cut process as required at no additional fee.

  • Estimates based on 900lb animal.  Animals can weigh as much as 1200lbs or more which affects your final price.

Please note that we have a very high retention rate of existing bulk customers and as such we typically have a waiting list of 12-18 months before you can take delivery of a bulk order (1/2 or whole cow).  We are working hard to expand this area of our business, but it takes a lot of fence, labor, establishing forages, watering systems, etc in order to do that.  Then, it takes 2-2.5 years to produce the beef this way!  High quality, nutrient dense food simply takes time to produce.  If you are interested in buying beef in bulk please email us to be placed on our waiting list.  A $325/375 non-refundable deposit is required for each 1/2 or whole cow purchased this way. (Please note that once you are “in” this program, you have to opt out — meaning you will continue to get beef every 12 months thereafter if you should so choose).
